Lenny Thompson is seen in a training style ring, his wrestling trunks on and he is all padded up, as though he's ready for a big match. His hands are taped, and he is sitting on the top of a turnbuckle, looking to the door. He looks at the clock on the wall, seeing that it is 10:30 PM.
Lenny
He should be here by now. That bastard better not have bailed on me, I need to tell him something.
Lenny remains seated, seeing the door tilt open slightly. It stops, and Lenny raises an eyebrow, trying to see what's up, and see if he can see anything beyond the door. He doesn't see anything other than the light in the hall outside, so he jumps down, walking around the ring a little so his muscles don't tighten up while he waits. He is facing the ropes away from the door, and a TV is on, ESPN playing. They are discussing Michael Phelps' Olympic victory earlier on in the day. A voice is heard behind Lenny.
Voice
Boo.
Lenny turns around, seeing an old friend of his from the beginning of his wrestling career, Tony Edison.
Lenny
Damn. About time you showed up, Tony. You ready or what?
Tony
Yeah, don't mess with me. Had a pretty slow day today. So, how are we doing this?
Lenny
Ah, yes. Stipulations. Always a fun part of putting together a friendly match. I guess we'll just do a normal singles match, all singles rules apply. Rope break, you know the deal.
Tony
Works for me, I guess.
Lenny
You gonna stretch or not?
Tony
Please, stretching is for pussies. Now let's just get this done so I can see if you're still a puss.
The two men get into separate corners, giving a mutual nod. They move in toward each other, getting into a grapple. Tony presses down, pushing on Lenny's shoulders and forcing him onto his knees. He knees Lenny in the chest, knocking him onto his back. Lenny moves a leg, tripping Tony as he runs for the rope, and Lenny jumps up onto his feet. He grabs Tony by the leg, but Tony kicks him away. Lenny regains his balance and runs for Tony, hitting a Clothesline as Tony barely gains himself on his feet, sending him right back to the ground. Lenny wastes no time, hurrying for the ropes and dives off, extending an elbow. Tony rolls out of the way, and Lenny hits an Elbow Drop on the empty mat, holding his arm in pain. Tony waits a second, and when Tony gets up, he is greeted with a knee to the gut and Tony's arm wrapped around the back of his neck. Tony spins, almost taking Lenny's head off as he drops to the ground, hitting a Gates of Hell. Lenny is flat on his back and Tony covers.
Tony
And the match is mine.
Tony hops up, grabbing Lenny's arm and pulling him onto his feet. Lenny is rubbing the back of his neck in slight pain, looking at Tony. Tony has a grin on his face.
Tony
Rookie's mistake. I trained you well, and you've got a bright career ahead of you, but you try to go for the win too quick. You went tot the top rope when I was still full of energy, and it killed you in the end. You need to know that your opponent won't move, because high-flying moves are risky, although I liked the whole trip idea. it's a cheap shot, but it works, and if you need to go to that length to get the win, do what needs to be done.
Lenny
Thanks for the tips Tony. You saw me in ICW, then?
Tony
Yeah. I remember the good old days of ICW. Back in the glory years. I was SNK champ for a while.
Lenny
I know. I was so glad when I got the opportunity to meet you at an autograph signing. I was always scared to try to make it here, because I figured they were too good for me. When they agreed to sign me, I was really pumped and couldn't wait to make you proud.
Tony
So far so good... You've had a great set of matches so far.
Lenny
Yeah, I know. I just wish I could take out my opponents more easily.
Tony
Your opponents were extremely talented so far, from what I've seen. Other than that no contest with Kage, you've done awesome, and I could see you being title material soon. Real soon.
Lenny looks Tony right in the eye, and Tony has a slight idea of what may be coming next.
Lenny
Tony, I was talking to a few guys in my locker room the other day. They saw a picture of me shaking your hand way back before I was a wrestler, and I told them that you were the one who trained me. They said that if I could get a hold of you, I was supposed to tell you that they want you back.
Tony
Well, I guess it couldn't hurt too bad. I've been out of work for a while, since UCWO isn't opened anymore. I was contemplating on where to return the other night. I'm just not sure I'm ready. Tell the guys that I'll think about it, but no guarantees.
Lenny hops out of the ring, a nice stride in his step.
Lenny
Whatever works for you. I'll see you around then.
Lenny grabs his duffel bag, leaving the room, and Tony sits in the center of the ring.
Tony
Knock 'em dead, kid. Make me proud of you.
Tony sits still, realizing now that Lenny already left.
Tony
It would be great to go back. Meet up with some old friends and catch up. But it would bring on great responsibility, and I'm not quite sure that I'm ready for what will be needed for a great return to ICW. Only time will tell if I come back or not, I guess.
Tony lays on his back, looking up at the ceiling, still contemplating on what he should do.

OOC: I know, this is really quite similar to Evan's promo in ways, but I had this planned out for the past week or so, seeing as how a slot of time has just opened up that I would be able to bring in another character, and I remember a few people telling me that they missed Tony. I'm not quite sure if he's returning or not, but this is the best way of bringing speculation around for now.
