The crowd remains largely enthusiastic as they continue to cheer and applaud the efforts of superstars in making the match card a success. The hive of activity from the ICW staff relaxes as all is in readiness for the next match, the lights in the arena turned on full in anticipation of the match to come. The air is crisp and tense as the fans subconsciously realise who will be participating in the next match up. Many in the audience were there to witness Rhaps' demolition of the Amandific One, claiming his first victim in ICW while the air is pregnant for the carnage to come in the most inhospitable of match ups. The weapons lie concealed underneath the squared circle, laying almost expectantly and their usage almost inevitable in the brutality about to witnessed and broadcast live to thousands of homes. Andrew Porter steps almost gingerly through the ropes, a microphone held loosely in his left hand as he looks up at the titantron. It takes on a snowy cast, similar to a television with no picture. Abruptly it gives way to the image of Rhaps staring into the camera. Nothing more can be seen than the whites of his eyes as Psychosocial by Slipknot begins playing in a low hum before rising into a crescendo of noise. Andrew raises the microphone to his mouth as Rhaps steps out from backstage, his face locked onto the ring announcer.
Andrew Porter: The following matchup is a hardcore ironman match. The rules are that the competitor with the most number of pinfalls or submissions after a designated time period will be the winner. Introducing first, hailing from Canterbury, England and weighing in tonight at 219 pounds. Rhaps.
The fans are still unsure as to how to treat ICW's newest freak show attraction as Rhaps steps down the entrance ramp. His ring attire has changed again, causing confusion amongst those who are gazing at it intently. The Safety Ranger is wearing knee length black shorts and a black T-shirt with the letters ICW emblazoned on it and a line drawn through it. The letters have been replaced with IRSN, causing many in the crowd to guess as to what the letters mean. The same letters appear on the titantron overhead, with the whites of the SIC Maniac's eyes still blaring down on the fans and ICW staff alike. Jenna Foxx and Homeless Harry look at it briefly, ignoring it largely as they keep their eyes affixed on Rhaps as he works his way slowly down the entrance ramp, strolling calmly.
Jenna Foxx: Is it just me or is there something really strange about Rhaps? We haven't really seen anything to do with him except relatively short promos and vague messages about how ICW is on the verge of change. Also he hasn't really proven himself in the ring. One win against Amanda last week was impressive but in my opinion it was a fluke win and it takes a lot more work and effort to really establish yourself as a Main Eventer in this business. So far the self-titled Rhapsitastic One is all show.
Homeless Harry: I'm not so sure. I mean, Rhaps does have a serious cast to him and whenever he enters the room I start to get this seriously heavy vibe coming from him. If he is all show I think I want it to remain that way because I don't want to know what things are rolling around in his mind. I mean, the dude slashed up mannequins. Why of all things to do with your spare time would you do that? He's one seriously strange individual.
Rhaps pauses in his progress by the ring apron, staring upwards at the ropes looming over him. Suddenly he bunches his leg muscles and he jumps to the apron in one smooth movement. His footfalls thud dully as he lands atop the ring apron. Rhaps ducks through the ropes and enters the ring, doing little if nothing to incite any sort of reaction from the crowd who remain rather still and silent. In stark contrast to the scene before Rhaps' emergence from backstage, the fans grow quieter until a painful and pervasive silence eludes over the whole building whilst Rhaps' entrance music dies to nothing. The SIC Monster turns and stares at Andrew Porter, his face remaining an expressionless mask as everyone awaits the arrival of Johnny Enmity.
