The scene opens in a museum, the annals of history ingrained deep into the hearts of all the competitors that have graced the halls of ICW and so many other federations. A relative newcomer to the ICW scene walks out into camera shot, his face gaunt and worn from long nights of restless sleep. The Rhapsitastic One stares into the face of the lens, the promo dragging on for a few seconds before it moves on. Rhaps turns and lets the camera follow him around the museum. It pans to the left, charting many historic events in the annals of wrestling history however the images depicted remained blurred to the viewer, obscuring their exact content. Rhaps remains visible, in stark contrast to the blurred scenery around him. The Safety Ranger reaches up and stares at something distantly before turning to face the camera.
Rhaps: Funny isn't it? You become the fresh face on the scene and usually you have the inclination to make an impact, something charting or documenting your arrival. Some promo or standing in the ring announcing yourself to both the world and the roster in the back. Something about how great you are or a general warning to the rest of the superstars. The choice to co-exist or to wreak havoc.
Rhaps falls silent for a moment. He turns on the spot and walks slowly around the museum once more, staring absent mindedly at the various exhibits on display. Something causes the SIC Monster to pause and reflect quietly. He bends down and picks up a length of two by four, holding it fondly and remembering the times it came in handy during his various encounters through his career. Rhaps places it back on the ground and half turns back to the camera again, standing side on.
Rhaps: In contradiction to what Rhaps said earlier, he's decided to do neither. He once made the observation that in wrestling there are the classic heels and faces. All of them playing a show for the fans, all to illicit a certain response, all following the typical patterns. Rhaps is different because there's nothing to prove but everything to gain. He's not typical heel or face, Rhaps just does. He learnt early on that anarachy and chaos are intertwined, hence cementing the legacies of some of the finest athletes this business has ever known. But as the Rhapsitastic One said, there's nothing to prove now, only time to reflect before setting foot for the first time in an ICW ring and letting the chips fall where they may.
Rhaps' mood seems to brighten a little as he turns on his heel and walks slowly. The camera jogs silently behind the SIC Monster as he works his way through the various exhibits. He stops suddenly and turns back to the camera, a wry grin on his facial features. Rhaps walks backwards slowly, a set of double doors looming in the background behind him.
Rhaps: You may now asking yourselves what is the point of this promo? Well, Rhaps will tell you because he's not one to leave his admiring public guessing. Its simply to say that chaos and anarchy is a state of mind and Rhaps' particular skill is pushing in the right direction to see which side of the line people fall on. Those who crumple under the strain and those who push back. Rhaps expects the latter and hopes to see it very soon. So, this is Rhaps' way of saying hello to the roster. And now; here we go.
As Rhaps finishes the sentence he turns on the spot and pushes the doors open. The camera remains firmly rooted on the spot as the doors swing dramatically back to a static position. The footage begins to fade to black as the dull thuds of Rhaps' footfalls are heard through the door as he exits the building.

OOC: I wanted to try something a little different for a first promo. Not sure if this actually made any sense but hey, the red text looks awesome right?
