As as the crowd returns their attention back to the entrance ramp after the commercial break, "Vendetta" by Mike V and the Rats hits the PA speaker system, and the word "Carlington" appears in teal on an orange background on the Titantron. A Man appears at the top of the ramp, with orange tights and three occurrences of a single green word, one running down each leg and one across the back. This word identifies the man, for any who don't recognise the music, as Chris Carlington.
At this appearance, the crowd commences a "You Suck!" chant, shouting and screaming to be heard over the music, and directing it at Chris Carlington. Carlington stands for a long moment at the top of the ramp, staring down at the ring where he will soon do battle.
Chauntel: Introducing next, weighing in at 295 pounds, hailing from Raloo, Ireland, he is the High-Flying Heavyweight...Chris Carlington!
I've got a vendetta!
I'm still alive!
You tried to ruin me,
To crucify!
As this verse of the music plays, Carlington begins his slow descent, down the ramp. His eyes are locked on the ring the entire way down. As he goes, he passes many booing and leering fans, who are waving anti-Carlington signs. Carlington ignores all of these, remaining locked on the centre of the ring.
Eric Angle: And once again here we see this new and focused Carlington, and he seems to have really brought the intensity these last couple of weeks on Saturday Night Knockout.
JTG: I'll agree with ya this time around, E, but don't think I'm makin a habit out of it. But then again...maybe this week Carlington has a chance.
Angle: Isn't that what I just...nevermind...
Now you see me,
And you piss yourself!
Because you know,
I'm not like everyone else,
That you trampled along the way,
I'm still standing,
And I'm IN YOUR FACE
Carlington finishes his descent of the ramp, and keeps his eyes locked on the ring as he walks around the outside to reach the steps. he climbs the steps, remaining focused on the centre of the canvas, and climbs in through the ropes. Chris Carlington walks to the centre of the ring, now facing out at the crowd. He stares at them, not flinching or reacting at all to their boo's and chants. Carlington then turns and faces the entrance ramp, and waits for his opponent to arrive.
Angle: Oh, boy...I really feel sorry for The Killer...he's only new talent! Why would our GM do something like this?
JTG: Well lemme tell ya E-Dawg, he may be new talent here...but The Killer is never gunna get anywhere in this world if he don't step up and face this man here tonight.
